Dinghy Park Information
The Sailing Committee ensures that the dinghy park is used to its full potential. This briefly explains the actions that you need to take if you wish to put/keep your dinghy in the Dinghy Park. Please study this letter and the following documents carefully: Dinghy Park Notes & the Dinghy Park Regulations

Complete and return the your Dinghy Park Application Form to the Secretary at LRSC by 1st February 2008. (Dinghy park allocations will only be considered for those membership renewals and applications received by that date)DINGHY PARK
- In future only people who use their boats, maintain them in sailing condition on a serviceable launching trolley will be entitled to keep their boat in the dinghy compound.
- Racks are provided for the use of dinghies that have easily removable masts (Laser, Topper, Pico etc.) and spaces will be allocated on these racks if there is insufficient space on the ground.
- Any usage counts whether it be cruising, racing, training or just going out for a sail.
- Boats will be initially allocated a position in the dinghy compound, but this may be changed during the year depending upon usage levels.
- Boats not used each month will be identified.
- If a boat is clearly not in a fit state to sail you will be given one month to either put it into sailing condition and use it or remove it.
- If you are not expecting to use your boat for any significant length of time (e.g. a month) then you must let the dinghy park supervisor, Tony Fastnedge, know when you next expect to use your boat. You may vacate the compound and if applicable obtain a partial refund and request to go on a Priority Waiting list.
- Owners of boats that are infrequently used will be asked to vacate their space
- A full set of the new Dinghy Park Regulations will be published on the LRSC website and will be issued to you with a sticker to be applied to your boat.
- Temporary dinghy park space may be available. This will be charged at a rate appropriate to the length of stay. Details are shown on the Dinghy Park Charges form.
